Tokyo Flashback : A Walk around Sugamo / 東京フラッシュバック：巣鴨の散歩

A week after the Furusato Festival, my wife and I once again met up with our friends Yukio and Reiko and we wandered around Sugamo, nicknamed the ”Grandmother's Harajuku". Our main destination was to check out Kouganji Temple, home to the Togenuki Jizo.

ふるさと祭りの一周間後、僕と妻はまた友達の幸男と玲ちゃんと会って、巣鴨、おばあちゃんの原宿を探索した。メインの特的は高岩寺、通所とげぬけ地蔵尊。

First, we felt up Sugamo's mascot, Sugamon's butt! It's so fluffy!

最初は巣鴨のゆるキャラすがもんのお尻を触ってりして。超ふわふわ！

And here we are at Kouganji Temple. The line was too long to see the Togenuke Jizo so we continued our walk. 

高岩寺に到着。とげぬけ地蔵に行列があり、参拝して、散歩を続いた。

See no evil. Hear no evil Speak no evil. This is at the Sarutahiko Koshindo. 

”見ざる、聞かざる、言わざる”。ここは巣鴨にある猿田彦大神庚申堂。

It was still January so too cold to explore some more. 

まだ一月だったので探索は寒すぎて、このあとは帰っただけ。
