２０１４年９月下旬。天気もまだ良かったので、妻と一緒に出かけました。本日探索するエリアは人形町と日本橋。
The first place we came across was the Sanko Inari Shrine.
最初に見つけたのは三光稲荷神社。

This is the Edobashi or Edo Bridge.

This is Nihonbashi.
日本橋に到着。
This our main goal, the new shopping building and area called Coredo.
本当の目的はここです。新しく出来たCoredo。

It was noon and time for lunch. We decided to check out this ramen shop called [Naokyu].
丁度昼だったのでどっか昼食食べることにした。選んだところは麺処「直久」人形町店。

ラーメン屋の店内。
According to this chopstic cover, this ramen shop first opened in the third year of the Taisho Era (1914). Wow, the shop is older than my father!
創業大正三年と書かれてる。西暦にすれば、１９１４年！凄い！自分のお父さんより年上だ！
It seems this is the specialty of the house. A jun-tori ramen. It is made with the Nagoya cochin brand chicken. You can also choose from either a soy sauce based broth or salt flavor.
これが店の名物ラーメンかもしりません。純鳥ラーメン。醤油か塩が選べます。
I must have ordered the dipping type ramen as my wife is too fond of it.
自分がつけ麺のほうを注文したのかな。自分の妻はつけ麺はあんまり好きじゃないので。
We shared a plate of gyoza.
餃子はシェアしました。
If you look, you can still find vending machines that sell beer and other alcohol.
探せば見つける、ビールと酒の自動販売機。
Of course this vending machine was located right outside a liquor shop.
ま、この販売機は酒屋にあったもんなので。

Here we are at Nihonbashi again where you can find a statue of a kirin, a mythical creature.
また日本橋に戻った。ここで麒麟の像があります。

There seemed to be a police event going on near the Nihonbashi Bridge. We decided to go chedk it out.
日本橋に東京警察署のイベントが開催してたので、見に行きました。
