毎年の２月頃、東京ドームでふるさと祭りが開催してます。このイベントで日本の４７都道府県が集結し、地元の名物、農産物とその地域の祭りが味わえる壮大なイベントです。

It was like going to a concert today.

I think we were in line for about an hour before we were able to get inside the Tokyo Dome.
確か一時間くらい並んで、やっと東京ドームに入りました。

さ～、どこから始まれば良いのか？
How about starting simple by eating some free samples starting with this umeboshi (sour plum).
じゃ、始まりはこの梅干の試食。ただでものが食べられるのも嬉しいね。
What's this? A large slab of bacon? I must have!
なにこれ？厚切りベーコン？ 食べるしかない！
What? What? What? Grilled sea urchin on a shell? Yep, must eat those too!
なに？なに？なに？焼きうに？それも食べないっと！
Of course we bought the grilled sea urchin.
もちろん焼きうにを買いました。
What's a food festival without craft beer?
食べ物祭りと言えば、やっぱり地ビールでしょう。
I love craft beers! This is an assortment of North Island beers from Hokkaido. The four flavors are M's Lager, Coriander Black, Weizen, and Brown Ale.
地ビール大好き！ちなみに、これは北海道のノース・アイランド・ビール。種類はM'sラーバー、コリアンダー・ブラック、ヴァイツェンとブラウンエール。
Looks like some kind of fish to me.

But we were pretty full so after eating dessert, we went home. All in all, a great day was had.
もうお腹いっぱいになり、デザートを食べたあとに帰りました。超楽しい一日でした。
