Today is going to be another adventure with the family. I picked yet another spot that my father would enjoy. My sister said that her husband would enjoy this place as well. As my father is an avid coin collector, we were headed to the Currency Museum of the Bank of Japan located near Nihonbashi. My mother informed us that she had worked at the Bank of Japan after graduating high school and before getting married.

Stone currency called rai or fei which are used on the island of Yap.

Why not challenge yourself to picking up the equivalent of one billion yen (which equals about $100 million USD).

Nihonbashi is also known for being the center for where all roads in Japan are measured.

We decided to have lunch at this very well known restaurant called [Taimeiken]. Their specialty dish is a very fluffy rice omelette.

This may not look as fluffy but when you slide your knife across the top of the egg and fold it over the rice, you will be in for a real treat.

The prawns on their menu are also very large.

After lunch, we were walking towards Ginza but had to deal with a seriously strong wind.

Check out the slicked back hairstyle.

My father wouldn't admit it but we were sure that his legs were in pain, so we decided to head back to the hotel and relax and would have dinner there.

I love the American portions at the New Sanno Hotel.

Maybe a little too much food and adventure for my wife today.

My boss was kind enough to take me to the hotel so I could say goodbye to the family as they were leaving for the States the following morning.

I got to enjoy one last dinner with the family at the hotel.

And so ended my family's visit to Japan.
