Yakiniku Restaurant [Gouen] / 焼肉レストラン 「豪園」

I had been living in the Sangenjaya area for twenty years and I never noticed this yakiniku restaurant not far from my neighborhood. As my wife and I were wandering around one week before our move to Aomori, we noticed it was lunch time and decided to look for a place to eat. My wife notice this restaurant that's right off of 246 (the main road that connects Shibuya to Sangenjaya) and the lunch prices looked very reasonable so we decided to check it out. The name of the restaurant was Gouen. We both ordered the same lunch set.

三軒茶屋周辺を２０年間も住んでたのに、近くにある焼肉レストランは気付いてなかった。青森引越しの一週間前はまた東京をブラブラ散歩したら丁度昼食の時間になって、どっかの飲食店を探し始めた。妻が例の焼肉屋さんを発見し、メニューを見たら、ランチの価格も結構リーズナブルでこの店に決定。店の名前は「豪園」。妻と同じものを注文しました。

Our set came with a salad and an assortment of kimchi.

ランチセットにサラダとキムチの盛り合わせが付いて。

Of course our set also included rice and soup.

あと、ライスとスープも付いてました。

On our way back home, there was a dessert shop that I had been curious about. It was called "Granny Smith" and is an apple pie specialty shop.

家に帰る前に気になってたデザートの店を訪ねました。店の名前は「グラニースミス」。この店は三宿にあるアップルパイの専門店。

We ordered two (or maybe it was three types) of apple pies. The Dutch Crumble and the England Custard. I can't remember if we ordered a third type or not to be honest.

２か３種類のアップルパイをオーダーしました。ひとつは確かダッチ・クランブル。もうひとつはイングランド・カスタード。３種類頼んだかどうかはっきり覚えてない。
