Yamanashi Day Trip (Part 3) Fuji Fifth Station / 山梨日帰り旅行 （パート３富士山五合目）

After lunch, we headed up to Mount Fuji's Fifth Station and spent about an hour or so wandering around the souvenir shop, checking out Komitake Shrine and of course trying to get a glimpse of Mount Fuji.

昼食を食べたあと、富士山五合目に行きました。一時間くらいお土産屋さんや五合目にある小御嶽神社にお参り、でもちろん富士山の姿を見ようとしました。

We spotted a couple of statues of early Mount Fuji explorers.

We caught a short glimpse of Mount Fuji.

富士山はちょっとだけ見えた。

That really is part of Mount Fuji in the background.

We weren't planning on climbing Mount Fuji but this is one of the most popular routes.

私たちは富士登山する予定はないですが、こっちのルートは結構人気あるルートです。

Of course I had to have a Fuji Original Craft Beer.

もちろん置くあ富士山村地ビールを飲みました。

In fact, I bought a set of Fuji Craft Beers.

Mount Fuji finally showed itself as we were leaving.

富士山五合目を去る時に富士山の姿がやっと現れた。

We made one last stop before heading back home. We decided to relax by taking a hot bath at a place called "Sensui"

東京に戻る前もう一箇所行きました。それは富士山溶岩の湯「泉水」という温泉。

And a beer after taking a bath.

風呂上りのビールは最高！

This was a castella shop at one of the service areas we stopped at on our way home. The shop was so cute I just had to take a picture.

最後に止まったサービスエリアで可愛いカステラの店を発見。カステラは買いませんでしたが、店は可愛いからつい写真を撮りました。

And as we said good-bye to the Bear's House, are trip also ended.
