Loud Park 2015 (Day 2 - Part 3) / ラウドパーク 2015 (二日目 パート3)

I missed seeing Loudness back in the 80s when they toured the States and gave my ticket to a friend as I was preoccupied with, whatelse - a girl.  And even though I eventually did get to see Loudness with Minoru Niihara singing, this would be a treat.  Soldier of Fortune is none other than Loudness with Mike Vescera singing.  Vescera was the vocalist for Loudness on 2 studio albums - "Soldier of Fortune", "On the Prowl".  Tonight's set would only feature tunes from the Vescera era.

参加したアルバムは「Soldier of Fortune」と「On the Prowl」。今夜のセットはその二つのアルバムの曲しかやらない。

Set List:
1. Down 'n Dirty
2. Danger of Love
3. You Shook Me
4. Running for Cover
5. Never Again
6. Cray Nights
7. Yuke Yuke Hyuma (Animetal USA cover) (Kyojin no Hoshi theme song)
8. Soldier of Fortune
9. In the Mirror (English version)
10. S.D.I.

Back at the Extreme Stage, Swedish melodic death metallers - At the Gates.  I may or may not have taken a peak at a couple of songs during their set.  I like the music of a lot of melodic death metal bands but I just can't get over the growling vocals.

エクストリームステージにスウェーデンのメロディックデスメタルバンドのAt the Gates。一曲か二曲聴きに行ったかも知りませんが覚えてない。メロディックデス系のギターの音は好きだけどやっぱり独特の歌声が駄目だね。

Set List:
1. Death and the Labyrinth
2. Slaughter of the Soul
3. Cold
4. At War with Reality
5. The Swarm
6. The Circular Ruins
7. Under a Serpent Sun
8. Heroes and Tombs
9. World of Lies
10. Suicide Nation
11. Kingdom Gone
12. The Book of Sand (The Abomination)

I wasn't familiar with this power metal band from Sweden, but after watching their entire set, they have gained themselves a new fan!  Awesome show.  Their stage set included a huge tank!  Quite over the top.

Set List:
1. Ghost Division
2. To Hell and Back
3. Carolus Rex
4. Swedish Pagans
5. Resist and Bite
6. The Art of War
7. Night Witches
8. Primo Victoria
9. Metal Crue

Yet another band from Denmark.  More alternative than metal but very popular in Japan. Many might even consider them grunge.  Being from Seattle, of course I liked their music.  This was the band my friend really wanted to see!

Set List:
1. Mindgasm
2. Waterline
3. Barbedwired Baby's Dreams
4. Find My Way
5. Rotator
6. I Would if I Could but I Can't
7. Made to Believe
8. Silverflame
9. Thorn in My Pride
10. 67 Seas in Your Eyes
11. Glory

I had to check out these guys just to say I have seen Napalm Death but as with the other bands on the Extreme Stage, I couldn't get past the vocals.  More like growling.  I have no idea what the heck they were singing. I could not find the set list for Napalm Death.

Power metal from the UK.  I saw them last year as well and as a big fan of this particular genre, I was not disappointed.

Set List:
1. Tomorrow's Kings
2. Heroes of Our Time
3. Three Hammers
4. The Game
5. Symphony of the Night
6. Through the Fire and Flames
7. Valley of the Damned

Another band I saw last year.  Mostly death growls so I didn't bother checking out their set this year.

Set List:
1. Not Fit for Human Consumption
2. Buried Dreams
3. Incarnated Solvent Abuse
4. A Congealed Clot of Blood / Cadaver Pouch Conveyor System
5. This Mortal Coil
6. The Granulating Dark Satanic Mills
7. Captive Bolt Pistol
8. Black Star / Keep on Rotting in the Free World
9. Exhume to Consume
10. Reek of Putrefaction
11. Corporal Jigsore Quandary / Forensic Clinicism / The Sanguine Article
12. Mount of Execution
13. Heartwork (with Ruptured in Purulenc intro, Carneous Cacophany / A Congealed Clog of Blood outro)

Nearing dinner time so once again I was off in search of some sustenance.

Tonight's dinner.  I can't even remember what it was but it has cheese and hot sauce so you can't go wrong there.  And it was good!

And this just looked so good, I couldn't pass it up.

Two more bands on the bill - Helloween and headliner's Megadeth!
