Maui Vacation (Day 4) The Road to Hana Part 5 /

Can you believe there is still more to see along this "Road to Hana".  Before making the long drive back, we stopped at a coffee plantation / fruit stand where I had my first taste of some raw sugarcane juice.  It was quite delicious.

Another intersting fruit tree /

Banana Tree /

Real bananas! /

Fresh fruits & veggies! /

Breadfruit /

We made one more little trip before heading back home.  That was to check out this tiny church.  It may not look like much but for you trivia buffs, this is where Charles Lindbergh's tombstone is located!

Palapala Hoomau Congregational Church /

Lindbergh's grave /

I must say Chuck has a nice view from his final resting place.

Such a cute little church /

I insisted that we stop to take a look at this particular waterfall as we were headed back to Kihei.  A good thing to.  Since the pools at the Ohe'o Gulch were closed and Tyrone was dying to take a dip, we got his wish here!

My postcard shot! /

And yes, that's Tyrone swimming below the falls.

Since it will be our last night in Maui, the plan for the evening is to have a barbecue by the poolside at the condo.
