Maui Vacation (Day 4) The Road to Hana Part 4 /

Oh my, my father is probably having a fit wondering what's become of his second son as I haven't updated my blog in almost a week.  Sorry Pops, I was once again working on other projects.  There are just not enough hours in one day!  Our next destination after the Black Sand Beach was Ohe'o Gulch in Kipahulu.

A map of the Kipahulu area.  We only walked along the Kuloa Point Trail as we do have a long drive back to Kihei.

Hale Ku'ai (a house for storing, displaying, and trading - it said so on the sign I read)

Walking through the woods to get to the Ohe'o Gulch.

Funky looking tree /

Not sure what kind of fruit tree this is / なんの木か分かりません、あの実はなんだろう?

The following pics are of the Ohe'o Gulch and Pools.

Of course the pools lead to the ocean /

And a picture of me and the wife with my friend for posterity!

Our travels continue...

Wow the Ohe'o Gulch and Pools looks really beautiful. Did you guys get your feet wet? Or do a little swimming? Vanessa

Nope, the pools were closed to the public when we went. We did get our feet wet at the Black Sand Beach though.
