A Walk around Asakusa (again) /

Mikako and I never get tired of walking around Tokyo's shitamachi, especially the area around Asakusa. I suggested going there this time because I wanted to check out the "Dance of the White Heron". Yes, there is such a thing. Actually, we only saw the women dressed as the herons, we didn't see the actual dance. Oh well, I believe its held again in November. Anyway, we always seem to find something new that we haven't seen before. Today was no different.

When one goes to Asakusa, one must go to Sensoji Temple and to get there, one must walk along Nakamise Street. We started off our walk by treating ourselves to some nureokaki (this is a soft rice cracker on a skewer).
