Tokyo Flashback : Bob's Ribs / 東京フラッシュバック：ボブズ・リブズ

I remember when I first saw this restaurant opened, I told my wife, we definitely have to check it out. I can I not want to go to a restaurant with the name of [Bob's Ribs]? And it's in our own neighborhood no less. As this was at the end of 2014, I couldn't tell you if the restaurant is still in business. 

この店初めて見たときに、妻にここは行くべしと強く言った。だって「ボブズ・リブズ」ですよ。それとうちの近所に出来た。ま、行ったのは２０１４年の年末だからまだ営業してるかどうが分かりません。

Well, it's nice to see that Bob has a sense of humor as he's calling himself Debu Bob and debu meaning "fat", so Fat Bob it is.

The Special Holiday Plate - your choice of ribs which comes with edamame stir-fried with butter and garlic, potatoes, and a salad. 

I chose the ribs with a tomato salsa sauce.

自分が選んだのはトマトサルサのリブ。

 My wife chose the ribs with herb salt (I think), I don't remember.

妻が選んだのはハーブ塩だったかな？

We only went to this restaurant one time though. The food was good but the portion was rather small and we found that we prefer the Japanese rib chain shop called "Shutters".

この店はこの一回のみしか行ってない。料理は美味しかったけど値段のわりに量がちょっと少なめと感じた。やっぱり僕と妻が日本のスペアリブ専門店の”シャッターズ”のほうが好き。
