Ramen Kashira /

As I had ramen for dinner this evening, I thought I would feature another ramen shop that we recently went to. The place is located in Shimokitazawa, a twenty-minute walk from our apartment. We actually went to Shimokita because I was craving some Turkish food and remembered the little Turkish restaurant in that neighborhood. Unfortunately, the place either went out of business or I just plain couldn't remember where it was located. So we opted for ramen instead.

Aka-kara /

I was going to describe the flavors of both but as its nearing midnight and I'm feeling really sleep, I'm going to cheat today and just leave with the pictures and will give the review my mother says isn't a review - Delicious!!

I want to com and eat ramen with you and Mrs Hoyt!
You know what truly amazes me is how you keep finding new corners of Tokyo despite over a decade of living in that city. A tribute to you and to your hometown--
