Silver Week Getaway 2015 (Part 12) Dinner in Urayasu at Komugiya / シルバーウィークの旅 ２０１５（パート１２）浦安の夕飯 「小麦屋」

As we were staying at our friend's apartment in Urayasu, we went to one of their neighborhood restaurant.  Less than five minutes walking distance.  We went to a place called [Komugiya] who's specialty is monjayaki and okonomiyaki.  But they had quite a few other items on their menu as well.

浦安で友達の家に泊まることになったので、彼のマンションから徒歩５分で近所の飲食店「小麦屋」に行きました。メインがもんじゃとお好み焼きなんですか、メニューは結構豊富です。

Of course we had to have our beers before anything.

もちろん始まりのビールを飲まないっと。

First we must start off with some salad.

メインの前はやっぱりサラダだね。

Yukio knows me too well - so he ordered some thick cut bacon.

やばい、幸男が俺を良く知ってるので注文したのは厚切りベーコン。

We chose the curry monja.

選んだもんじゃはカレーもんじゃ。

 

 

And I had to try the tomato sour.

 

そしてメニューにあったもんで、トマトサワーを飲んでみた。結構いけるよ！

 

 



You would think we would be full by now, but our last dish of the evening was okonomiyaki.

こんだけ食べてもう満腹と思うでしょう。それでも最後にお好み焼きも注文した。

After dinner was over, it was time to head back to our friend's place and call it a night.  However, before going to bed, my wife decided to use a face pack.  They have some stylish ones here in Japan.

夕飯が食べ終わったら、友達の家にもどってちょっとリラックスタイム。妻が面白いフェスパックを使ってみた。

And so ended our evening.

そして今日の一日が閉じた。
