Mecha Libre / メチャ・リブレ

Japan isn't really known for its Mexican restaurants (which are still few and far between). But occasionally you will stumble upon one which will surprise you. We had lunch at Mecha Libre in Sangenjaya (a 15 minute walk from our apartment). I ordered their burrito with chicken which was filled with spanish rice as well while Mikako ordered a plate of garlic shrimp. Both dishes were quite delicious.

日本で僕が思う美味しいメキシコ料理店はほとんどありませんが、たまには良い店も発見することがある。今回は三軒茶屋にあるメキシコ料理店の「メチャ・リブレ」でランチを食べました。うちのアパートから歩いて１５分位の距離。僕が注文したのはチキンブリット、ブリットの中にスパニッシュライスも入ってました。美香子が注文したのはガーリック海老。両方はとっても美味しかった。

We also enjoyed the atmosphere of the restaurant itself. It's not too large and has a family feel to it. A very relaxing place to enjoy lunch.

店内は結構個人まりで雰囲気は心地良い。とってもリラクスが出来て、ランチにはもってこい場所と思います。

Mexican Restaurant & Bar [La Fiesta] / メキシカンレストラン＆バー 「ラ・フィエスタ」

Oh yes, this is where we had lunch in Naka Meguro. It's the Cantina La Fiesta. I ordered the Albondigus de Pollo (chicken meatballs topped with a yogurt sauce) while Mikaka had the Enchilada de Salmon (salmon enchilada). I also told Mikako she just had to try the Jallapenos Rellenos (jalapeno poppers) - I love them. They're fried jalapenos stuffed with cheese for those of you who are not familiar with this dish.

中目黒でランチを食べたメキシカン料理店「ラ・フィエスタ」。僕が注文したのはチキンボールのシチューヨーグルトソース（サラダ・メキシカンライス付）。美香子が頼んだのはサーモンとベーコンのトマトクリームエンチラーダ（サラダ・メキシカンライス付）。あとどうしても美香子に食べさせたいものがあって、それも注文した。それはハラペーニョ・レジェーノス （５本の揚げたハラペーニョのチーズ詰）。
