Ferrari vs Lamborghini / フェラーリ ｖｓ ランボルギーニ

This is a total guy post.  Some time last December my wife and I went to Odaiba and did a bit of shopping.  Okay, the wife did the shopping while I tagged along.  We went to Venus Fort and I couldn't help but notice this awesome exhibition going on at the time - Ferrari vs Lamborghini!

今日のネタは男のロマンだ。去年の年末妻と一緒にお台場で買い物にいった。ま、妻が買い物して僕は付いただけ。ヴィーナス・フォートに行ったら男が気になる光景を目にした。なんとフェラーリvsランボルギーニの展示が！

VW Beetles / フォルクスワーゲン ビートル

Okay, this is post just for a blogger friend of mine who happens to be a big fan of VW Beetles.  With that in mind, lately if I spot a VW Beetle, I find myself taking a picture of it.  As my friend is not on any social networking sites, this would be the only place to view my pics.  There aren't that many as yet but its a start.

家族旅行のネタを書く前にブログ友達のため、こういうネタを実行。友達は大のフォルクスワーゲン・ビートルのファンで、最近そういう車見るとつい写真撮ります。 友達はSNSをやってない為、自分が撮った写真は僕のブログで見れるしかない。 そんなにないけど、ま、たまにこういう簡単のネタも良いよね。

AMC Marlins / AMC マーリン

A while ago a friend of mine was talking about Yugos (you all remember those?), and old cars in general on MIXI (the Japanese version of MySpace or Facebook) which reminded me of my first car that my brother talked me into buying. Unfortunately, it didn't run. I bought another model which ran but is still sitting in the garage at my parents house. But it also wasn't worth the investment, so I ended up giving it to my brother as a present. The car is a 1966 AMC Marlin (the first one was a 1965). And since most people do not know what a AMC Marlin looks like, and pictures of the one at home wouldn't do the car justice, I found some prime pics on the internet. I suppose my brother and I should have researched a little more thoroughly.

ちょっと前にMIXI（日本版のソーシャルナットワークサイト）で友達がユーゴの話題を話してた。アメリカでもちょこっと流行った車（流行ったと言うより、ユーゴスラビアの車で珍しいと話題になっただけ）。それで、自分が兄のおすすめで最初に買った車を思い出した。メークは１９６５年のAMC（アメリカン・モーター・カンパニー）マーリン。ボロイやつで、走らなかった。また１９６６年のモデルも混入しまたが、それもぼろくってあんまり運転することはしなかったな。でも、その１９６６年のやつは今でも両親の家に静かに眠ってる。でもボロすぎて、ネット上でもっと上等なマーリンの写真を検索してみた。こうゆう車です。

The 1965 Model I bought was Red and Black. While the 1966 model was similar in color to the third picture. Maybe I'll take a picture of the one at home when I visit next month.

１９６５年モデルは赤と黒でした。１９６６年モデルは三番目の写真の色とほぼ一緒。来月里帰りするので、その時に家にあるマーリンの写真を撮ろうかな。
