福島原発の地域をあとにして、また海沿いでドライブしながら、次の目的地へ。まだ福島県にいますが、いわき市に波立薬師に行ってまりました。小さなお寺ですが場所が素敵。

I had to take a nature break but discovered the public restroom was quite a walk away.
ちょっとお手洗いに行ったが、本堂から結構遠かった。
The public restroom was located near these portable homes, built for the people who either lost their homes to the tsunami or can no longer go back to their homes because of the radiation.
境内のお手洗いではなく近くに公衆トイレがありました。そこに仮設住宅がありました。３・１１の津波と原発のせいで多くの人が自分の家が失ったか、帰れない場所にあるか、考えると可哀想だな。

Of course we had to get our temple seals from Hattachi Yakushi.
もちろん波立薬師の御朱印をゲットしますた。
Okay, I know I said the view was beautiful. And you're probably wondering where is the beautiful view. Well, you're in for a treat.
さ、場所が最高と言ってましたが、まだ凄い綺麗な景色みてないと疑ってますか。では、お待ちかねです。
What? That's just a beach you say. Okay, okay.

このタンネルを探索しないっと。
It was unfortunate that we could not walk out to the small island connected by the small red bridge. Too much damage so it was closed off.
残念ながら私たちが行ったときあの小さな島まで行かれなかった。危険になったので封鎖されてます。

あら、これ昔アメリカのSF番組の゛タイム・トンネル”を思い出す！
By the way, that is the Pacific Ocean.
あっ、そういえば、この海は太平洋ですよ。
Walking back through the tunnel again.
車に戻るときにまたこのトンネルを通らないっと。
And our journey home continues...
家に帰る旅がつづく。。。
