One of the things I really miss about living in Tokyo are all the food festivals they hold in the summer and autumn. Every year on the first weekend of October, the Hokkaido Festival is held at Yoyogi Park. In 2015, instead of hanging out with friends in the day, it was just me and my wife. We went at night.
東京生活で恋しくなるのは夏と秋で開催される料理祭り。毎年、１０月の最初の週末は代々木公園で北海道フェスが開催される。いつもなら友達何人も集まって楽しむけど、２０１５年に、僕と妻だけが行った。私たちは夜に行って、滞在時間はそんなに長くなかった。

Hokkaido is not only known for its fresh seafood, but for a dish called Ghengis Khan which is made with lamb meat.
北海道は海鮮物だけではなく、肉と言えばジンギスカン。羊の肉から作った料理だ。
Of course there were many booths selling different types of seafood dishes.
もちろんいろん屋台が海鮮料理を提供してた。
Another Hokkaido regional dish - Ishikari nabe which is a salmon hot pot.
また北海道名物だ。石狩鍋。
It looks like I had another craft beer as well.
また違う種類の大沼ビールを飲んだ。
Scallop croquettes. They're so good!
