Tokyo Flashback : Ibaraki and Tochigi Prefecture Shrine Pilgrimage (Part 4) / 東京フラッシュバック：茨城県と栃木県神社巡り （パート４）

And now to continue on our shrine pilgrimage through Ibaraki and Tochigi Prefectures. As we were looking for a place to eat, we saw a sign for a soba shop. There weren't any other restaurants around so we decided to have soba for lunch. 

さて、茨城県と栃木県の神社巡りの続きです。昼食の時間で、そば屋のサインを発見した。周りに他の飲食店がなかったので、その店でランチを食べるのが決定しました。

We weren't really sure if that was the restaurant but the sign pointed the way so he had to assume it was. 

奥にある建物がレストランがどうか不安だったが、サインにそち方面の矢印があったため、行ってみるしかない。

On our way to the soba shop. 

蕎麦屋に行く途中。

We had to cross this river (using the bridge of course). 

この川を渡れなきゃいけない。ま、橋があるから問題はありません。

I had to get a two-shot of us as well. 

妻とツーショットも取らないとね。

This is the soba shop. It is called [Higura]. 

ここがそば処でした。店の名前は「日倉」。

A five minute walk or so from the parking lot. 

駐車場から歩いて５分程度。

Green tea and some pickles. 

お茶と漬物。

The great thing about not having a driver's license. No one is going to ask me to drive and I can drink beer!

運転免許持ってないことでお得することは誰も運転に変わってと言わない。そして、自分がビールを飲める。

I can't remember who ordered what but everything was delicious. 

誰が何を注文したか覚えてないけど、全ての料理は美味しかった。

Oh yes, we had some tempura too. 

そうだ、天ぷらも食べました。

It was just so relaxing there, we stayed for about an hour or so. 

結構心地よかったので、１時間ほども居ましたな。
