Tokyo Flashback : Island Burgers / 東京フラッシュバック：アイランド・バーガー

When I was going on my way to the Tokyo Metropolitan Firefighter Museum, I passed by a burger shop called [Island Burgers]. I decided that I would have lunch here after checking out the museum. 

東京消防博物館に行く途中、「アイランド・バーガーズ」というグルメバーガー屋の前を通った。そこで、博物館を探検したあと、必ず、この店でランチを食べることを決めた。

I ordered the avocado cheeseburger which cost \1400. All burgers are served with fries. 

自分が注文したのはアボカドチーズバーガー。全てのバーガーはポテトフライ付き。

Did you notice there is something missing? Yes, there were no avocados on my avocado cheeseburger. I didn't realize this until I finished eating it. I was a bit tired from spending more than a couple of hours at the Fire Museum. I was disappointed that I spent almost \1500 on a burger and it didn't include one of its main ingredients. Needless to say, I was a bit upset, but more upset at myself for not noticing the missing avocado before I started eating the darn thing! Needless to say, I haven't been back to this burger shop after that first fiasco. 

なんか自分の注文になにか足りないと気づきました？はい、僕が注文したのはアボカドチーズバーガー。上記の写真にアボカドが何処も見当たらない！残念ながら、俺がアボカドチーズバーガーのアボカド無しは食べ終わってから気づいた！食べるまえに２時間以上消防博物館を堪能してたのでちょっと疲れてた。でも￥１４００のバーガーでちゃんと注文したものが提供されなかったのは悔しい。店の人とはもめなかったが、自分のミスでもあったし、なんでテーブルに来たときにアボカドが入ってなかったのを気づいてなかった。それで、この店に食べに来たのはこの一回のみとなった。
