Tokyo Flashback : Teddy's Bigger Burgers / 東京フラッシュバック：テディーズ・ビガー・バーガーズ

On Facebook, I am a member of couple of pages related to being half-Japanese and half-American. One is called "Planet Haafu". The other is "Hafu Japanese & Family Group". In one of them, one of the members was enjoying what looked like a really delicious burger which reminded me of all the gourmet burger shops I checked out in Tokyo. This is the second Hawaiian chain to open the doors here, the first being Kua Aina. This burger shop is called [Teddy's Bigger Burgers] and yes, they did have some ginormous size burgers! I went here with two of my friends who I informally taught English to about once a month. We would choose some eatery, eat good food, and study a bit of English. And so it was, that I found myself in the first Teddy's Bigger Burger located near Harajuku with my friends Ryoko and Yukie.

フェイスブックで二つのページのメンバーです。両方のページの条件は日本人のハフであること。一つは”プラネット・ハーフ”。もう一つは”ハーフジャパニーズ＆ファミリー・グループ”。このあいだ、一人のネタで美味しそうなバーガーを食べてた。その写真を見て、東京でいろんなグルメバーガーショップで美味しいバーガーを食べたことを思い出して、このバーガー屋を紹介しようと思った。アメリカハワイ州発祥のバーガー屋です。”クアアイナ”はもう日本には上陸しましたけど、その次オープンしたハワイのバーガー屋はここ、「テディーズ・ビガー・バーガーズ」。名前通り大きなバーガーが特徴です。初めて行ったときは友達二人と。この二人は僕にお願いして、英語の授業月一回をやってました。どっかの飲食店を決めて、そこに行って食べながら軽く英語を教えてあげた。原宿表参道店は明治神宮の近くにある。

How big are the burgers? About this big!! There are actually three sizes to choose from - bigger, bigger and biggest. I think we all ordered the "bigger" size.

バーガーの大きさはどのくらい？ このくらいです！！サイズは３ある、ビッグ、ビガーとビゲスト。私たちはたしかビガーサイズを選びました。

The burgers are served with fries.

バーガーにポテト付。

Those were some big burgers, that's for sure and yes, they were good!

結構なボリュームなバーガーでした、そして美味しかったよ！
