Random Photos on a Walk from Home, Nakameguro and Daikanyama / 中目黒・代官山ランダムフォートの散歩

One more month of living in Tokyo before our big move to Aomori. We spent another weekend walking around town. On this day, we went from our apartment to Nakameguro and Daikanyama before heading back home.

あと一ヶ月で東京から青森に引っ越す。大きな決心でしたが、やっぱり東京最後の月も満喫しないっと。今日はうちから中目黒と代官山まで散歩に出かけました。

We've been to Nakameguro so often, there didn't seem anything new to take a picture of. It wasn't until we were walking through the Daikanyama that I noticed these art pieces that were similar to an exhibition I saw in Shinjuku a few years ago. I'm sure the works were by the same artist - Natsumi Tomita.

中目黒は何回も行ったせいか、面白そうな写真は撮れなかった。丁度代官山に着いたらある店の前に気になるアートオブジェを発見。これは絶対僕が新宿で見た女性アーティストの富田菜摘の作品だ。

I thought maybe she was doing another exhibition but this place turned out to be a clothing store that only featured her artworks.

彼女がまた展示会を開いてるのかと思ったら、ここは普通の洋服の店。ただ富田菜摘の作品が展示されてるだけ。

Yes, you can find churches in Tokyo among the shrines and temples. This is the Tokyo Baptist Church.

東京でお寺や神社はいっぱいありますが、その中でも教会も存在してますよ。ここは東京パプテスト教会。

Definitely a rich neighborhood.

やっぱり代官山って高級感あり。

This building is the Malaysian Embassy.

この建物はマレーシアの大使館。

We spotted another free resident of Tokyo on our walk.

また東京住民の一人も出会った。

We decided to walk back to our apartment by way of one of the ryokudo (green paths) where no motor vehicles are allowed. And so ended our walk today.

帰りはやっぱり緑道で歩いた。そして今日の散歩は終了しました。
