And back to the second of headbanging at Japan's only all heavy metal festival - Loud Park Day 2! Yep, I made that long trek home, hit the sack, woke up, showered, and headed out the door again by 8am or so! I decided I would try to catch the opening act that would be on stage at 10am!

朝１０時から日本のメロディックデスメタルバンドGyze （ぎぜ）。２００９年Suicide Heavenで結成されたバンド。２０１１年にバンドがGyzeに改名した。名前の由来はお父さんが経営してる美容院の名前。
I'm not a big of the melodic death metal genre but there are some bands in that mold that I do like. The guitar playing of this band was phenomenal!
個人的にメロディックデス系はそんなに好みじゃないですが、そういう系で好きなバンドはいろいろありますけどね。このバンドのギターも最高でした。

Today's 3rd stage was the Extreme Stage. A host of death metal bands on the line-up. Not a favorite genre of mine at all so I didn't bother with most of the bands playing.

My American friends will not be familiar with artist. Well known in Japan. She has released over 20 albums in her homeland and for tonight's set, the guitarist was none other than Akira Takasaki of Loudness. I only stuck around for about three songs before I decided to go in search of something to eat.
アメリカの友達は絶対知らないアーティストが登場。日本ならロック界で有名。今夜のライブで参加したギターリストがラウドネスの高崎晃！ 自分もあんまり知らなかったので、３曲位を聴いて、そのごは食べ物を求めた。

An artist I didn't bother watching at all. Abbath is the former vocalist and guitarist of the extreme death metal band Immortal. That's all I know. But if you take a look at the set list, you will see that most of the songs performed were Immortal tunes.
このアーティストはまったく興味なかったので、このセットは観てなかった。Abbathは元Immortalのギターリストとボカリストしか知らなかった。セットリストを見たら、ほんとんどImmortalの曲しか演奏してない。
