Kankoku Shokudo / 韓国食堂

Today, Mikako and I went to Shimokitazawa to finish up our Christmas shopping. And as it was lunch time when we went, we decided to eat lunch first and then shop. We couldn't decide on going out for Korean or for ramen when we came across the Kankoku Shokudo's second shop and saw on their menu, kimchee chige ramen.

今日、下北沢でクリスマスショッピングに出かけました。着いたらちょうど昼だったので、どこにランチを食べるのを迷ってた。韓国料理にするか、それともラーメンにするか。その時目に入ったのは「韓国食堂」のメニューにキムチチゲラーメンがあった。以前に韓国食堂を食べにいったが、これは二号店でした。

I'm imagining my mother reading this blog looking at another morsel that she would like to try that Mikako and I enjoyed. Which means she will probably go out for some Korean food herself as well.

自分のお母さんがまた僕のブログを読んで、あきれて、また食べ物のネタと言うでしょう。でも自分が食べてみたいものばっかりのせるから憎たらしいと思われてるかも。それで、お母さんも間違いなく、韓国料理を作るか、食べに行くと僕は間違いないと思う。

And because this is a Korean restaurant, your meal is also served with kimchee.

ここは韓国の料理店なんで、もちろんキムチ付です。
