Nihonshu from Nigata Prefecture / 新潟県の日本酒

Delicious Nihon-shu from Niigata Prefecture. I didn't realize they were available in this size. This was given to me by courtesy from one of my regular blog readers. Asahiyama is a favorite of mine. While the Hakkaisan was recommended by the reader. I shall enjoy one of this weekend.

新潟県から美味しい日本酒です。このサイズがあるのは知りませんでした。私のブログの読者から貰いました。嬉しいですね。朝日山は大好きです。読者のおすすめが隣にある八海山。今度の休日に飲もうかな。

I know the taste of Hakkaisan. That’s Karakuchi(moderately bitter taste). But I don’t know the taste of Asahiyama.
Is that Amakuchi(moderately sweet taste) or Karakuchi?
Enjoy drinking Japanese sake.
Nanden toshi.

Chotto amakuchi kamo. But to be honest, my favorite Nihon shu is Dassai from Yamaguchi Prefecture. I was introduced to it my the master of an Izakaya called Pore-Pore (unfortunately he closed the izakaya quite a few years back).
