Oh, I thought I had already posted our Christmas Eve dinner, but apparently not. Well, as Mikako and I both worked on that particular day and having no oven at home, you can bet that we didn't have a whole roast turkey. But we did have a nice spread of sushi and a large piece of roast chicken. And for dessert we had a nice little cake in the shape of an igloo. But the next day (Christmas Day), our neighborhood Mexican restaurant was selling small whole roasted chickens for half-price. Of course we bought one (only 1000yen).あれっ？クリスマスイーブの夕飯のネタも書いたと思ったら、まだでしたね。その日、僕と美香子は仕事だったのと、家にオーブンもないし、もちろん丸焼きの七面鳥は良いしてない。その変わりに豪華の寿司とロースチキンを食べました。デザートにはかまくらケーキ。でも次の日（クリスマス）、近所のメキシカン料理店が小さな丸焼きチキンを半額で売ってました（１０００円でした）。もちろん買いました！
I can see my mother shaking her head as I write another food post. Don't worry Mom, its not like I ate all this food one day after another!
また食べ物のネタで絶対自分のお母さんがあきれてると思う。母さん、心配無用。連続でこうゆう食べ方はしてませんよ！

Hey Ern! Michael and I are readin' ya! Dang that chicken looks good!....But that dessert looks even beter!! And I am feeling more than a little green after looking at those maldives pictures! Hey, I was surprised to see your comments. That chicken was quite delicious! It took us a couple of days to eat it though. And the cake, it's our annual treat (bought at 7-11 no less). The Maldives - we keep dreaming about a time when we can go back there. I'm about to start on my New Year's Aomori posts.
