今から五年前くらい、妻の甥っ子が立川の近くの帝京大学に通い始めた。たまに私たちがかれを会いに行く。ある週末会いに行ったら、彼が用事があったかな、そして妻の母性本能が働き、彼のアパートの片付けを始めました。一緒に家事するのはやだったとね、僕は帝京大学周辺を探索しようと思った。多摩センターにサンリオピューロランドもあり、ちょっと行ってみようかなと思った。別にハロ・キティのファンでもないけど、せっかくなので、いざ多摩センターへ。
The first thing you come across is a sign that says this is "Hello Kitty's Town".
多摩センター駅に着いたら、”ハローキティにあえる街”の看板が出迎えてくれる。

It was in November when we went so the Christmas spirit was everywhere.
１１月だったので、クリスマス飾りがあちこちにありました。
I think this tunnel is illuminated at night.
多分夜になったらライトのトンネルになってると思う。

Well, since my wife was at our nephew's apartment, I couldn't very well take a picture where the heart lights up.
多摩センターは一人で行った為、妻のツーショットは撮れませんよ。

あっ、なんかこの建物の情報あり。旧富澤家住宅だったそう。
Still wandering around Tama Central Park.
また多摩中央公園にうろうろしてます。

アヒルをまた観察。
They look like lawn chairs.
アメリカの庭で使用する様な椅子に見えた。
I recognize the artist of these objects. That would be a piece by none other than Taro Okamoto.
あっ、こういう彫刻のオブジェの製作者わかる。絶対岡本太郎の作品だ。

Kind of a cool logo on this building.
ちょっと面白いロゴを発見。
Alright, I now decided to head to Sanrio Puroland.
さてこれからサンリオピューロランドに行こうと思った。
There it is!
もうすぐ到着だ！
I was all set to go in until I saw the entrance fee. It was 3,300yen for adults!! Well, as I said, I'm not that big a fan of Hello Kitty, so I decided to head back to my wife's nephew's apartment.
本当に入ろうと思ったが、入場料を見たら、大人一人で３３００円！！俺は先言ったように、そんなにハローキティファンでもないので、入るのを却下しました。また妻の甥っ子のアパートに戻ることにした。
This area is called Space Pikoron. You are supposed to say hello to this thing and it will tell your fortune or something like that. I was in a hurry to get back so I didn't properly read the sign.
ここはスペースピコロン。これに”こんにちは”と声をかけて、なんか教えるの。詳しく読んでなかったため、なんだったんだろう。
That building in the air is a monorail station. It's where I'm headed for to go back to my wife.
その建物はモノレールの駅。今からそこに向かった、妻の元にいかないっと。
And here comes the monorail.
モノレールがまもなく到着します。
And so my adventure around Hello Kitty Town ended.
そしてハローキティの街の冒険が終了しました。
