ゴルデンウィーク四日目だ。本日の予定はお墓参りです。義理の弟の家族も今日は休みなので、一緒に参りすることになった。

We then went to this shopping mall to go in search of something called andama (sweet snack that reminds my wife of her childhood).
お墓参りを終了しまたら、近くのデパートにある駄菓子屋に行ってきました。探したのは妻が子供の頃に食べたあん玉とういうものでした。
This is what we went in search of. Unfortunately, we couldn't find any. Apparently to be found only in Aomori Prefecture.
こういうお菓子を探してた。残念ながらみつかりませんでした。なんだか青森県限定のお菓子らしいです。
And since we could not find the sweets my wife was looking for, we headed to one of her favorite cake shops that she used to frequent. A placed called [Fifth Avenue].
妻の好きな駄菓子が見つからなかったので、妻が青森に住んでたころによく行ってたケーキ屋の「五番街」に行きました。
So much to choose from. Can you guess what I decided on?
選べるのが大変。僕がなにを食べたか当たってみるか？
I chose the blueberry cheesecake. How can you go wrong?
僕が選んだのはブルーベリーチーズケーキ。 間違いなく美味しいでしょう。
And my wife and I shared a cheesecake.

座ってるのは僕の義理の弟。奥にいるのは僕の妻。
Our next stop was going to be this ramen shop that my wife and I always look forward to going (aside from the one that serves curry milk miso ramen). We were going to a ramen shop called Asari which serves this really spicy tamanegi (onion) ramen. But there was a really long line so we skipped that for the time being. My brother-in-law made the suggestion of heading to Shichinohe to ride on a Rail Bus which only runs once a year. Now that sounded kind of interesting and so we were heading off to Shichinohe.
次の目的地は僕と妻が好きなラーメン屋です。「味の札幌」じゃないほう。私たちが青森に行くと「あさ利」とういうラーメン屋が行きたくてたまらなかった。昼に行ったら凄い行列ができて一旦却下。義理の弟の提案で一念に一回しか運行しないレールバスに乗るかっと、いざ七戸へ。

七戸行きでう。
And our holiday continues...
休みがつづく。。。
