We still haven't reached the Showa Daibutsu at Seiryuji.  But we're getting there.

まだ昭和大仏に辿りついてない。でも近づきました。

Finally, there it is - the Showa Daibutsu.  There is also a gallery inside depicting images of hell and the cycle of life.

 

やっと。これが昭和大仏だ。中にも入れる。鎌倉大仏と違っておも白いアートが展示されてる。地獄と人生の流れが描いてる。

These are all inside the Showa Daibutsu.  There were too many panels to show the cycle of life and images of hell and eventual rise to enlightenment.

This was interesting.  A miniature course of the 88 temples pilgrimage of Shikoku.

 

これも面白かった。四国八十八ヶ所砂踏み霊場。

 

 

My wife and her friend on the pilgrimage.  I followed of course.

 

妻と妻の友達が巡礼してます。もちろん僕も歩きました。

And of course I had to get my temple seal for Seiryuji.

 

そしてもちろん清滝寺の御朱印をゲットしました。

 

 

 

And thus concludes are day of travel.  Dinner will be with the family at an all you can eat yakiniku restaurant called Stamino Taro but that's for the next post.

 

 

そして今日の冒険の幕が閉じた。今夜の夕飯は家族でスタミナ太郎の焼肉食べ放題。でもそれはまた別のネタで書き込みます。
