Loud Park 2014 (Day 1 - 2nd half) / ラウドパーク ２０１４ （初日 後半）

Now for the second half of Day 1.  Another band I was looking forward to seeing.  George Lynch back with Lynch Mob!  You think they might play a couple of Dokken tunes?  Of course they will!

初日後半。また個人的に見たいバンドがステージに。あの元ドッケンのギターリストがリンチ・モブを再結成し、ラウドパーク参戦！ドッケンの曲もやるのかな。もちろんやるでしょう。

Ya think George wanted to have Don along on this tour.  As you can see from the setlist, he only played three Lynch Mob songs while the rest were Dokken tunes.

Next up on stage - Polish black metal band Behemoth.  As I mentioned before, I am not of fan of the black metal genre so I think I went wandering around again.

次はポーランド出身のブラックメタルバンド、ベヒーモス。前にも言ってましたが、個人的にブラックメタルは好きじゃないので、また会場散歩に行った。

次もまたエクストリームメタルバンドのカーカスだ。でもこのバンドはちょっと見たかった。ハートワークスという曲が好き。それに、以前も「ハートワークス」のEPのCDも持ってました。

I believe this band should have been the headliners for Day 1 - Europe back in action.  I was looking forward to seeing Joey Tempest and John Norum.  It would also be my first time seeing Europe in concert!

個人の意見ですが、このバンドをヘッドライナーにするべきだったじゃないかなと思いました。ヨーロッパです。自分も初めてジョイ・テンペストとジョン・ノラムがライブで見れる。

But Europe was not the headliner.  Why the concert promoters decided on the Stone Temple Pilots is a mystery.  Well, okay - Linkin Park is really popular in Japan but just because Linkin Park's vocalist Chester Bennington will be fronting Stone Temple Pilots doesn't mean Linkin Park fans will be flocking to see Stone Temple Pilots.

でもヨーロッパはヘッドライナーではなかった。プロモーターはなにを考えてのかな。いくらリンキン・パークのボカリスト、チェスター・ベニントンを加入しても、日本人ほとんどストーン・テンプル・パイレッツも知らないでしょう。リンキン・パークファンもわざわざチェスターをみる為にラウドパークには来ないでしょう。
