My Hamburger Steak [Yamamoto] / 俺のハンバーグ 「山本」

My wife and I had been thinking of going to this little restaurant for quite a while now and we finally did.  This is "Ore no Hamburg" [Yamamoto] in Shibuya.  That first part would translate to "My Hamburger Steak".  Mikako ordered the Hamburger Steak with demiglace sauce while I ordered myself their hamburger steak with garlic sauce. 

僕と嫁は結構前からこの店に行きたかったんだ。いろんな番組に紹介されてやっと行ってみた。店の名前は「山本」 俺のハンバーグ。 嫁が頼んだのはデミグラスのハンバーグ。僕はガーリックハンバーグ。

Okay, as we are regulars at our local restaurant "Hippopotamus" that also serves great hamburger steaks, so we weren't overly impressed.  I mean, the hamburger steaks were delicious but I think our taste buds are biased towards the hamburger steaks at "Hippo".  I suppose we should have ordered the "Yamamoto Hamburger Steak".  Hey, another reason to go there again.

うちの近所にあるレストラン「ヒポポタマス」も美味しいハンバーグはメニューにもあるので、「山本」に行ってそんなに感動的な美味しさの出会いではなかった。普通に美味しかった。ま、多分私たちはヒポポタマスに慣れてるせいかも知りません。多分「山本」の“俺のハンバーグ”を注文するべきだったかも。それでまた行く機会が作ったわけだ。
