Another band I wasn't familiar with at first but then was excited when I found that the members were Michael Kiske and Kai Hansen, yeah - Helloween!! In fact the last two songs of their set were Helloween songs.
次のバンド最初わからなかったが、メンバーを聞いたら期待が出来る。なんと元ハロウィンのマイケル・キスクとカイ・ハンセンが！！ 最後の２曲もハロウィンの曲で大盛り上がり。
The set was great but Michael Kiske sure has changed. My image of him is still from the "I Want Out" promotional video, but now he looks like a miniature version of Rob Halford! Okay, so the "I Want Out" video is pretty old, but still...
セットは最高だったが、マイケルはどうなったの？ マイケル・キスクのイメージはやっぱり“I Want Out￥”のPVから。現在は小さめなロブ・ハルフォードみたい。ま、あのPVも結構古いが。。。

My friend was looking forward to this band play. I'm still undecided on if I like their music or not. It wasn't exactly my cup of tea.

The next band up was The Darkness, but I took this opportunity to have dinner. I also ran into a co-worker around this time as well.
次はザ・ダークネス。あんまり興味なかっとんで、ここで夕飯の時間にしました。あっ、この時間に仕事の同僚と遭遇。

David Coverdale still going strong. New members again, as always. This time the band features Doug Aldrich and Reb Beach and they have a new album out - "Forevermore"!
デヴィッド・カバデールがまだ頑張ってますね。新しいメンバーも入った（また！）今回はダグ・アドリッチとレブ・ビーチがギターを弾いてる、そしてホワイトスネイクが新しいアルバムも出した！
And finally, the official headliners - Limp Bizkit. I have no idea what the concert promoter was thinking billing Limp above Whitesnake. I was debating about leaving after the Whitesnake set but last year when Korn headlined one night, they gave a great performance so I thought I would give Limp a chance.
で今年のヘッドライナーはなぜかリンプビズキットで納得出来ない。コンサートプロモーターはなにを考えってたんだろう。去年コーンが一日ヘッドラインして、その時もどうかなと思ったが、楽しいセットを見さしてくれた。リンプもチャンスをあたえようと思った。

Well, I was right about one thing. Most of the true metal fans went home after the Whitesnake set. The stands were nearly empty. I'm sorry but Fred Durst was a lousy emcee. I think only hardcore Limp fans actually enjoyed the show. I suppose I could have went home early and not feel cheated by missing the Limp set.
やっぱり本当のメタルファンはホワイトスネイクのセットが終わったら帰ってたな。スタンドはほぼ空だった。フレド・ダースとのエムシーも下手やし。リンプファンじゃなければ帰るのも正解だったかも。あ～あ、最後でちょっとそんした気分。
