Maui Vacation (Last Day) Part 1 / マウイ島旅行 （最終日） パート１

It's our last day in Maui.  As I mentioned in the previous post, once we returned to Kihei, we stopped by Costco to pick up supplies for dinner.  Barbecue by the poolside in the evening.  Our flight isn't until late in the afternoon so we might go to one more place before leaving.  My sister and Tyrone will be here for one extra night.  Why are we leaving a day early?  Mikako made a promise to her nephew that if the Korean pop idol band Big Bang were to have a concert in Tokyo and the show just happens to be on a Saturday!

マウイ島最終日だ！前ポストに書きましたが、キヘイに戻ったら早速コンドミナアムのプールサイドでバーベキュウー！私たちの便は午後からなんで、朝はちょっと出かけるかも。妹とタイローンはあと一日いる。なぜ私たちが一日早く帰るのって？それはですね、美香子が自分の甥っ子にある約束を交わした。それは韓国の人気アイドルバンド“ビッグバン”が日本に来日したら、ライブに連れてあげるという。そしてそのライブが土曜日だ！

And yes, I did take a dip in the pool! / は～い！、もちろんプールの中を堪能しましたよ！

Barbecue Time! / バーベキューの時間！

Steak & Fish! / ステーキと魚やで！

Mustn't forget the beer!

By the way, I picked up one souvenir that I didn't particularly want.  When we went to the beach and I asked my wife to spray my back with some strong sun block and I thought I was covered.  But check out what happened.  Don't ask someone who isn't used to going to the beach to spray sun block on you!

ところでいらないお土産がありました。ビーチに行った時に、背中に日焼け止めのスプレイをしてくれと嫁に頼んだ、そして準備万端と思った。それがですね、下記の写真見て下さい。O型で大ざっぱな妻がスプレイしてくれたと思ったら、この通りです！

Is that a funky burn or what?  Tyrone was worse off than me though. 

変わった日焼けされた！でもタイローンのほうがもっとひどかった。
