Asian Dining & Bar [Sita] / アジアン・ダイニング＆バー 「シタ」

Taking a break from writing about neighborhood walks, I thought I would share with you my latest culinary endeavors. Today's restaurant is [Sita] in Sangenjaya. Although the sign says Asian Dining & Bar, it's mostly Indian and Thai cuisine. If the building and menu items look familiar, that's because this was the location of our favorite Indian/Thai restaurant [Ali Baba]. And although the restaurant name has changed, along with the interior - the menu items are relatively the same and a few of the workers are the same as well. I can only assume it was either taken over or sold to one of the former employees of [Ali Baba]. Thank goodness, they haven't changed the menu so much though. So I ordered my usual - mutton curry, which is served with nan and rice while Mikako ordered her favorite - tom yam ramen.

近所散歩のネタを一旦休んで、また最近食べに行ったレストランを紹介します。今日は三軒茶屋にあるアジアンダイニングバー「シタ」。店の看板がアジアンダイニングと書いてありますが、店の料理はインドとタイがメイン。この店が以前にも紹介されたと思う人もいるかもしりません。なぜと言えば、この店は私たちの好きだったインド・タイ料理店の「アリババ」でした。店と店内が変わりましたが、メニューは大体アリババと一緒。店員をほとんど同じ人たちがやってます。アリババから独立したか、前の従業員が店を買い取ったか分かりません。言えることは、おかげさまにメニューはそんなに変わってませんので、一安心。僕はいつもののマットンカレーセットを注文、美香子は好きなトムヤムラーメンを頼みました。
