Voleur de Fleur / ヴォルール・ドゥ・フルール

Back to my shopping story on Monday in the pouring rain after failing to see members of Bon Jovi the previous day. Mikako found quite a bit of clothes to her liking and was in much better spirits. It also helped that we had just finished lunch. Afterwards, Mikako had a craving for some sweets and as it was still raining, it seemed like a good idea to stop into a nice cozy little cafe. We checked out a place called "Voleur de Fleur". The desserts looked promising and Mikako was looking forward to enjoying a cup of coffee with her sweets. Most of you know that I am not a coffee drinker and also prefer cold drinks to hot ones, but a cup of hot Earl Grey was what I needed today. We shared three desserts between us, a gateau chocolat, a rare cheesecake, and a pumpkin pudding. All three were delicious.

またボン・ジョヴィ成田空港事件の翌日の話に戻ります。大雨の中で美香子の買い物付き合い。僕にとって昼食の楽しみもあったので。食べた後に帰ると思ったが、美香子が甘い物が食べたいと言い出して、歩きながら、良さそうなカフェを探してみた。発見したのは２階にあった「ヴォルール・ドゥ・フルール」。デザートが美味しそうに見えたし、美香子はコーヒーも好きだし。コーヒー飲まない僕が珍しくホットティーを注文。種類はアール・グレイ。寒い日にはホットが良いね。二人で三種類のデザートを頼んだ。ガトーウショコラ、レーアチーズケーキとパンプキンプディン。
