A Walk around Kyodo / 経堂の散歩

It was such a beautiful today, that we went for a nice long walk. We left our apartment around 11am. First we had lunch at Ali Baba (the Indian/Thai restaurant I featured before) before starting out. We walked along Setagaya Dori to Kamimachi. There is a bakery in a cute little building. From there, we came across the Karusuyama Green Path and walked along that. We then found ourselves in Kyodo which we had not yet explored.

今日は散歩日和の日だったので、朝から出かけました。最初は昼食を「アリババ」で食べて（インド・タイ料理店）。その後、世田谷通りを歩いて上町にたどり着いた。そこで可愛い建物にパン屋がある。そこから烏山緑道に行って、散歩をつづいた。経堂に着いて、経堂探索した事なかったので、経堂で散歩を実行。

As we were walking around Kyodo, I came across these sculptures of something called the "Heart Family".

経堂を歩きながら、不思議な物を発見。「ハート・ファミリー」とゆうものでした。

We also found another bakery that was featured on television and is well known for its melon-bread. The place was called "The Melon-Bread Factory". They were out of melon-bread when we walked by, but it was going to be ready in about ten minutes. Of course we waited. Oh my, fresh melon-bread right out of the oven. It was delicious! Nice crunchy crust on the outside, light and fluffy on the inside.

また別のパン屋を発見。テレビで紹介された店で、名物はメロンパン。店の名前は「メロンパン・ファクトリー」。通った時はメロンパンが売り切れでしたが、あと十分を待つとまだ焼きたてのメロンパンが出来上がると聞いてもちろん待ちました。食べたらこのメロンパンが有名になるのは分かる。超美味しかった。外側はかりっとクッキーみたに感じで、中はふんわり、やわらかく。

On our walks, I love checking out temples and shrines that I haven't yet seen. In Kyodo, we discovered a temple called the Fukushoji Temple. What a beautiful piece of architecture.

散歩する時、見たことないのお寺や神社を発見したら、つい見に行く。経堂に発見したのは副昌寺（ふくしょうじ）。素晴らしい建築物でした。
