Buildings of Victoria, B.C. / カナダ、ビクトリア市の建造物

One of the things I love about Victoria, B.C. in Canada is all the old buildings. The architecture is fantastic. Unlike Japan where lots of beautiful old buildings are torn down to make way for ugly new ones, the old buildings in Victoria are preserved and used for new businesses.

ビクトリアのもう一つの魅力は町並みの建造物。味のあるビルがいっぱい。日本と違って、古い建物を大事にするのがとっても良いと思います。日本だったら、古いビルを壊して、味のないビルを次々と建てるのはどうかなっと自分は思います。

Fan Tan Alley closes around 6:00pm and it was already past 7:00pm when we went to Chinatown for dinner.
