A Walk around Nihonbashi / 日本橋の散歩

Nihonbashi

Our walk today was around the neighborhood of Nihonbashi. All major roads leading from Tokyo are counted from the Zero Milestone located here.

今回の散歩は日本橋の周りでした。日本橋は日本国道路元標です。

As we continued our walk, we came across the mascot of Nara Prefecture, Sento-kun. He was standing outside of the Nara Prefecture Antenna Shop, so we popped in and I bought a few craft beers from Nara Prefecture.

散歩をつづいたら、奈良県のマスコットせんとくんと出会いました。ビルを見ると「奈良まほらば館」と書かれました。入ってみて、奈良県の地ビールを混入しました。

We also stumbled upon the antenna shop for Shimane Prefecture, Yamanashi Prefecture, and Yamaguchi Prefecture as well. I also bought a few more craft beers from the Shimane Prefecture store and decided to try the microbrews from Yamanashi at another time. The Yamaguchi Prefecture store didn't stock any microbrews, but they did have my favorite Nihon Shu which I also passed on buying this time around.

他の都道府県のアンテナショップも発見しました。島根県、山梨県、と山口県。島根県の地ビール３種類も混入しました。山梨県の地ビールはまた今度買おうと思ってます。山口県の地ビールは置いてなかった。でも自分の好きな日本酒はありました。鷽祭（だっさい）と読む。それもまた今度。

We then left Nihonbashi and headed towards Iidabashi to check out the Aomori Prefecture antenna shop where I picked up a few more craft beers.

日本橋と探検したあと、次の目的地は青森県の物産店がある飯田橋。青森県の地ビールもここでゲット。

And so ended our neighborhood walk. Hopped on a couple of trains as we headed home.
