This Evening's Weather (Aug 29, '08) Night / 今夜の天気 （８月２９日）夜

Taken from our veranda around 9:00pm on Friday night.

It's almost midnight and it's still raining, and we're still seeing lightning and hearing thunder!

もうすぐ１２：００amなのに、まだ雨が降って、雷が見えて、音も凄いよ！

Wow--was there a power outage as well? Such blackness. I can't wait to get the end of the thunder storm season in another month or so--thanks Ernie!

Nope, no power outage. But a lot one of train lines stopped running because lightning hit the tracks or some such. I was fortunate enough to have taken the bus.
