Today is White Day so on my way home from work, I bought Mikako this cake. What is "White Day"? Well, here in Japan, Valentine's Day is a day when women buy or make chocolate for their someone special. I suppose they just wanted to be different from Americans. And so, the candy companies came up with another way to improve sales by creating "White Day" where the people who received chocolates on Valentine's Day, will reciprocate, making more money for all the candy makers.
