Kyushu Fair 2013 / 九州観光・物産フェア ２０１３

Yes, I know I've been neglecting updating my blog.  Nothing serious though.  A friend of mine loaned me all four seasons of [Burn Notice] and I've been watching them on my free time which means I haven't been reading or renting movies or updating my blog.  And you know what, I'm still not finished writing about all the food festivals I went to.

ブログの更新が遅れてるわかってます。問題は起こってませんよ。友達が海外ドラマの「バーン・ノーティス」の全４シーゾンを貸してくれた為、そのドラマをずーと見てる。とういうことで読書もしてない、新作のDVDも借りてません、そして個人ブログを更新してない。

The week after the Hokkaido Festival was the Kyushu Festival.  Unfortunately for this festival, my sister and Tyrone had already left to go back home to the States.

北海道フェアの続きは九州観光・物産フェアでした。残念ながら妹夫妻の日本バカンスが終了し、アメリカに帰りました。

My friend Nori and his two kids (the ones on the left - Shoei and Rinne).  That would be my other friend's daughter on the right - Rino.

Always great to get an early start.

Another staple of the Kyushu Fair is the Sasebo Burger.  I passed this time around.

This was pretty amazing.  Kyushu ramen which is mostly known for tonkotsu had a booth selling a shio ramen.

 

なんか珍しいもの発見。九州ラーメンと言えば豚骨なんですが、塩ラーメンの屋台を発見した。

25th Annual Hokkaido Fair in Yoyogi Park 2013 [The Road to Hokkaido Foods] / ２５回北海道フェアin代々木 「ザ・北海食道」

My sister and her husband were still in town to enjoy the foods of Hokkaido at the Hokkaido Fair in Yoyogi Park, this is after we had a large Sunday Champagne Brunch at their hotel. 

妹夫妻はまだ東京に居たため、今度は代々木公園で北海道フェアに連れてあげた。昼はホテルで凄い食べたのに、私たちは夜でまた食べ続けます。

Our first choice at the Hokkaido Fair is always the Genghis Khan (lamb dish) from a restaurant called [Matsuo].

北海道フェアでいつも最初に並ぶ屋台は「松尾」のジンギスカン。

And lots of meat! / そして肉がいっぱい！

 

 

We are at the Hokkaido Fair so we must have some Sapporo beer as well.  Here I am drinking a Sapporo Classic.

 

北海道フェアなので、もちろん北海道のビールを飲まないと。僕が飲んでるのはサッポロクラシック。

Since we didn't find a booth selling soft cream at the Hokkaido Fair we took our sister to a shop that does.  I think she be looking pretty happy.

 

北海道フェアでソフトを売ってる屋台見つからなかったんで、妹にアイスの店に連れてあげた。妹結構テンション上がってます。

 

 

It looks like it wasn't just my sister that wanted some ice cream.

 

妹以外にアイス食べたい人が居たみたいよ。

 

 

Actually, we all went out for dessert after eating all the Hokkaido cuisine but I will save that for another post.

 

北海道フェアを去ったあと、普通に帰りませんでした。みんなでまた甘いものを食べに行った。でもそれはまた今度のネタでかきます。
