Tokyo Flashback : Thin Skin Gyoza Specialty Shop [Shibuya Gyoza] / 東京フラッシュバック：薄皮餃子専門店「渋谷餃子」本店

Way back in 2014, around the end of the year, we went to something called the Emergenza Event. It's like a Battle of the Bands and our friend Yukio was the drummer for a band called Tough Box. The Emergenza Event works on an audience applause competition with the band getting the largest applause being able to move on to the next round. However, before the event, we grabbed a bite to eat at place called [Shibuya Gyoza]. Their specialty is a thin skinned type of gyoza. The shop was located along Center-gai (I have no idea if the shop is still in business or not as it's now 2020 and restaurants come and go in Tokyo all the time).

２０１４年の年末、僕と妻はあるイベントを見に行った。イベントはエマージェンザ２０１４。アマチュアバンドの競争みたいなものです。友達の幸男がタフ・ボックスというバンドでドラムを叩いてる。今日は準々決勝戦な感じだったかな。ま、イベントに行く前にはやっぱりなんか食べないっと。行ってみたのはセンター街にあった（まだ営業してるのはわかりません）薄皮餃子専門店「渋谷餃子」。

The gyoza wasn't bad, but it wasn't anything to write home about either. You would have a far better time going to the Gyoza Stadium at Namja Town in Ikebukuro. 

餃子は普通に美味しい。感動するほどではなかった。いろんな餃子を食べたいなら、やっぱり池袋にある餃子スタジアムに行くべき。

Bean sprouts - not really a favorite of mine either but when they're stir-friend they're pretty decent. 

個人的にもやしあんまり好きじゃないけど、もやしの炒めならイケル。

Kimchi goes good with gyoza. 

キムチは餃子のお供で全然悪くない。

I just love pork belly!!

角煮は自分の大好物！！

And I had a couple of chicken wings as well. Not bad but I prefer the chicken wings at Sekai no Yama-chan.

手羽先も食べましたが、やっぱり手羽先と言えば、世界の山ちゃんですな！

Time to go to the event!
