This was the first year where a Spain Festival was held at Yoyogi Park. Of course I had to go and check it out. It was scheduled on the weekend of the 23rd and 24th. I went on both days. The first day with a co-worker and on Sunday with my wife and friends.
今年は代々木公園で初めてフィエスタ・デ・エスパーニャ「VIVA SPAIN!」が１１月の２３・２４日（土・日）開催されました。もちろん行くしかないでしょう。僕は土日に行きました。土曜日は同僚と。日曜は妻と大勢の友達と。

I don't know why but there was a booth selling American chili at a Spain Festival.
なぜかわかりませんが、スペインフェスでアメリカのチリを売ってた屋台があった。

If I remember correctly, I was hanging out with one of my co-workers from Tower Records and we shared some takoyaki (octopus dumplings).
自分の記憶が確かならば、タワーレコードの同僚とたこ焼きも食べた。
The following day, I had invited a bunch of my friends so a lot of us gathered to indulge in Spanish cuisine.
次の日、大勢の友達を誘って、みんなでスペイン料理を堪能することに。
Just getting set up and having some beer before getting food.
友達の朝から場所取りして、ビールを飲んで、これから料理の買い出し。
What would a Spanish Festival be without paella?
スペイン料理の代表で言えばやっぱりパエリアですよね。
And we couldn't pass up buying some steamed oysters.
蒸し牡蠣もあって、やっぱり買いました。
And of course we had to feast on some raw ham.
あとスペイン料理で吹かせないのあ生ハム。

I wanted to eat this yesterday, so one of the first things I bought today was the three cheese risotto.
昨日食べたかった料理はすぐその屋台に行きました。手に入れたのは３種チーズの有機玄米リゾット。
On the same weekend as the Spain Festival, the Thai Loi Kratang Festival was also being held and my wife wanted some tom yam kung ramen.
今週末代々木公園はスペインフェスと同時にタイロイカトン＆モーラムフェスティバルも開催して、妻がタイ料理のトムヤムクンラーメンが食べたかった。
And it looks like someone bought khao phat (pork fried rice with a fried egg) from the Thai area.
ほかの人がカオパットを買いました。タイ風のチャーハンと目玉焼き。
Gotta have our snacks too.
スナックも食べないっと。

My friend's daughter.
友達の娘。

スープをまた食べました。

Someone brought some tomato, bacon and cheese flavored potato chips.

Yes, we're still eating. Someone went back to the Thai area for a trio of Thai cuisine.
はい、まだ食べ続いてます。また別の人がタイ屋台のほうでタイ料理３種類を買ってきた。

And more wine.
そしてワインもう一本。

My friend Ryoko (on the right), wanted to introduce her friend Yukie, who wants to study some English.
友達の涼子（右側の女性）が自分の友達のゆきえを僕に紹介したいと言われ、彼女がこれから英語を勉強したと理由で。
Also, another former Tower Record co-worker joined us. She was showing off her new braces.
あと、元タワーレコードの同僚も来てくれた。

These two would become my first informal English conversation students.
二人が僕の初の英会話生徒になってくれた。
And so ended a weekend full of food, fun and friends.
そして素敵な週末の幕が閉じた。
